Nicky Whelan

Nicky Whelan (born 10 May 1981) is an Australian model and actress. The actress gained prominence in Australia for her role as Pepper Steiger, which she played over a 100 episodes on the soap opera Australian Neighbors between 2006 between 2006 and 2007. In Hollywood it was her first time on two different projects. The first was Hollywood & Wine in which she portrayed a young, actor who was aspiring to be a star. Then she was offered a part as Maya an extremely seductive medical student, in Scrubs the ninth season. The series was suddenly halted. Within the next few years, the actress is expected to be working on an episode of the Farrelly brothers' show Good to shoot starring Jason Sudeiki's Owen Wilson. The year 2013 saw her debut, she was able to take on more challenging projects. The actress was in six episodes on the show about detectives, Franklin and Bash, and later, she got her first appearance as a regular in the web-based series Chosen with Milo Ventimiglia. Also, she was Chad Michael Murray's replacement in the two first seasons. Then she played a supporting role in two feature films that took place on aircrafts. The first one was a TV film produced by SyFy's Flight 7500. It featured actors from TV programs. Another film is Le Chaos with Nicolas Cage. In both films, she is an Air Attendant. Matador is a television series that she created together with Gabriel Luna. The 13 episode season is all there is of this Robert Rodriguez-produced thriller in which actors are CIA agents. She then continues to work on a pilot series that does not go well. In 2015, she also shared a B'series romance Borrowed Moments poster with Brian Krause as well as appeared in Comedy Witness for Rent, worn by Kevin Hart Josh Gad Kaoco. She is also part of the very large distribution of the experimental Knight of Cups by Terrence Malick. She is featured in five scenes of Satisfaction.
