Lowell began her acting career when she appeared in Dangerously Close. She then was a part-time actress in the show's Club Paradise's Assistant District Attorney Jamie Ross. 4 She progressed to play roles, including co-starring as Bond girl Pam Bouvier in the James Bond film Licence to Kill (1989) as well, beginning in 1996 as the assistant district attorney Jamie Ross for two seasons on the TV drama Law & Order, a role she reprised in 2005 as a guest on its spinoff, Law & Order: Trial by Jury, and reprised the role on the original show in 2022, when it was relaunched for the 21st season.
