Anna Silk was the first child of Peter Silk (an academic) and Ilkay Silk (a actress, playwright, director, producer as well as a teacher of St. Thomas University). Anna Silk is the daughter of a Briton, and the son of a Turkish Cypriot English ex-pat. As a young girl, she appeared in a variety of commercials.
