Amy Smart, an American model and actress from the United States. Her modelling career began in Italy, where she was raised and born in California. Her first role as an actor was in the TV movie Her Costly Affair. It took some time to be a part of Starship Troopers in a smaller part. It was at first was hard for Amy to switch from modelling to acting. It's because the majority of models aren't good actors. In the majority of cases, they're given insignificant and small parts. Yet, somehow Amy refused to give up and transitioned to more prestigious roles. It all started with the show The 70s and the film Varsity Blues. The 2005 romantic comedy Just Friends, which also had Ryan Reynolds, saw her take on larger roles. Amy received the recognition she'd been seeking more than a decade. There were several major films within the Crank trilogy opposite Jason Statham. And she had a part in a series of recurring roles on The Shameless series.
