Ky-Mani
Ky-mani is on the rise with his untitled third album. In February of 1976 Ky-mani was born to the famous Robert Nesta Marley and Jamaican T.A. One Love starred Ky-mani as Kassa. It's an engaging love story that follows an enlightened musician from reggae who is able to escape the corruptions and discovers that he has a new world when he falls for the young woman at the church. The film has been lauded by film festivals as well as critics. this film is a new masterpiece of the Ky-Mani Marley collection. The film is not yet release in theatres. Furthermore, Ky-Mani made the feature film Haven that star's Bill Paxton and Orlando Bloom, Directed by Frank Flowers. Haven was screened at the Toronto International Film Festival. The Toronto International Film Festival premiering Haven. The listener will be transported back to a different era of the reggae boom. Ky-Mani's message remains "one heart. One love. Ky-mani is an East African term meaning adventurous traveler, and as the man who lives the name every album, or trip has been an experience. The Journey, his musical journey began in 1999. With an eclectic vision he found his voice and travelled the spectrum of music to discover his numerous talents. Many More Roads, a classical reggae record that was nominated for a Grammy in 2001 showcased a more mature Ky-mani. Many More Roads and The Journey were well-received worldwide. This solidified Ky-mani's status as an independent musician. Ky-Mani's sound is a mixture of roots reggae overlaid with hip-hop, R&B in addition to contemporary jazz.
