Summer Glau
Glau's first TV credit was as a guest actor on the 2002 episode of Angel. She was the target of director Joss Whedon who subsequently was cast in his critically-acclaimed, but short-lived TV show Firefly as River Tam, a role she reprised in the feature film sequel to the show Serenity. Glau had previously applied for the Power Ranger (White Wild Force Ranger Alyssa erile) role in Power Rangers Wild Force, but was rejected by Jessica Rey. She was Shelly the high school senior in the episode Sleepover. She also appeared in the CSI: Crime Scene Investigation episode "What's Gilbert Grissom eating? " the second season of The Unit as Crystal Burns (the girl of Jeremy Erhart). Glau was Tess Doerner (a paranoid, schizophrenic returningee) in the second season of The 4400. From season three, she became a regular character. She also played a role in the horror-comedy film Mammoth. Glau was in The Initiation of Sarah, an ABC Family TV movie. Glau played Cameron Phillips an infiltration unit of the Terminator which was returned to Skynet to defend John Connor (and Sarah Connor). The seventh episode, "The Demon Hand" was filled with scenes where Glau (in the role of Cameron) moves ballet. In addition, Glau also played Allison Young (Cameron's human Doppelganger) in the sequel season episodes "Allison from Palmdale" and "Born to Run". Glau was also featured as herself in a CBS episode from 2009 of The Big Bang Theory's satirical comedy.
